All I did was ask!

This morning I asked Paige what she wanted to do today.  She said, "Maybe go to the Children's Museum or pick up Daddy or go to the park or go swimming. . ."  I asked her which of those she wanted to do and she picked go swimming.  So I got out the new pool, blew it up, and Wa La. . swimming fun, our first of the season!

Grad Party and Dedication

We went to visit Grandpa and Grandma last weekend for the girls' 2nd cousin, Kylie's, graduation and also for Skylar's dedication.  It was a super busy weekend and I can't believe that we didn't take more pics, but this is all I have.  Paige was supposed to spend the week with Grandpa and Grandma, but ended up getting pink eye and came home Tuesday morning.

I think these are totally AWESOME! Yes. . .we own a black Sienna, which I am so going to refer to as the Swagger Wagon from now on!!!

Can we keep her?

The girls and I got to go visit my brother James, his wife Jenna and my neice Olivia on Tuesday.  She's four months old and we have only got to see her a couple times, even though they only live an hour away.  I thought it would be nice for James and Jenna to have family watch her in the afternoon, while they were working and at school.  My girls LOVE her. . .so much!  In fact, Paige asked if we could keep her.  It was so cute and I happened to have the video running at the time.  You can watch it at the end, but may really only be interesting for family members.  Olivia is such a precious, easy going baby.  If I knew I would get a baby like her, I would for sure have another one.  And that is saying A LOT.

Alaina got really upset if Paige touched Olivia while she was holding her.

Photoshoot!

Yesterday we took Paige's 4 year pictures and Alaina's 2 year's.  I thought going in, let's get Alaina first, she'll be the tough one.  Not so much. . .Paige has this horrible fake smile that ruined so many pictures.  We did end up with a few.  I hope you enjoy.

Sunny Days, Sweeping the Clouds Away!

Mark won tickets to Sesame Street Live. . .5th row. . .which turned out to really be the 3rd row!  The girls had a BLAST!  Paige's remark as we were leaving was, "That was awesome!" and Alaina kept saying, "at a fun, at a fun!" (Translation: That was fun!)

Alaina wasn't a bit afraid and would have walked right on stage with them, if we would have let her.  Rosita kept blowing her kisses.

After watching Alaina, Paige even decided to be brave and stand in the aisle.  Paige did NOT want to be near the characters at first, but started to get used to the idea towards the end.  (She is in the jeans and pink shirt.)

Zoe even came down to shake Alaina's hand.  I think Alaina liked her bracelet.

By the last song, Paige and Alaina were dancing along!  It was a fun night!
